Mosaic (7th - 12th grade)

In an effort to fulfill the mission of connecting students to Jesus, His Church, our community, and the world, the Mosaic Student ,inistry has weekly programs and monthly events.

If you or your students are new to our ministry, one great way to connect is through our Wednesday night service.  This service often starts with an ice breaker so students get to know one another, followed by discussion questions with a leader and their peers that get students thinking about the message,  after our group time we worship together through music, and we close out with a message from Robbie or another leader.  Another great way to connect is through our Bible Fellowship hour. During this time students meet in age specific classes that give them an opportunity to get to know one another on a deeper level and engage in dialogue around their weekly lesson.

Aside from our weekly programs, Mosaic also has monthly events. Be sure to check out the events page for upcoming events.  The reason we have events is to teach students to walk with Christ on a daily basis. In our busy culture it’s easy to lose site of authentic relationships and Christian obedience on a daily basis. Every event we have strives to fulfill the mission of Abilene Baptist Church.

Mosaic Youth Choir

Our Mosaic Youth Choir consists of students in grades 7-12 who love Jesus Christ and love to get together and sing His praises!

The Youth Choir meets each Sunday at 5:00 PM in the Music Suite rehearsal room located behind the Worship Center throughout the school year. The Youth Choir leads worship in our evening worship service several times a year. We desire to develop the students musically and spiritually as they grow in their role as worship leaders. While not all will continue to lead “up front” as adults, we want to “stir up” a passion for worshipping God for their entire life.
